  • Good Grain Creative was founded by Asher Segelken in 2019 out of a dorm room at Belmont University.

    Good Grain Creative is Asher’s response to God’s call to help the church tell its story so it can help spread the Gospel in an increasingly post-Christian environment.

    Good Grain Creative aims to introduce the church to the best-researched & informed communications practices that inspire, connect, and engage their cities, communities, and members.

    Good Grain Creative is proud to have served ministries during the COVID-19 pandemic and to continue serving churches as it navigates the post-pandemic era and beyond.

    We have stepped into stories in California, Tennessee, Texas, South Carolina, and Florida seeing success for ministries we partner with in each market.

    We believe that the majority of conversations today between organizations and individuals are starting online via social media and website visits, we want to equip the church to take advantage of this ever-evolving marketplace norm.

    We believe that the future of affordable human resourcing for the church is going to be through the agency model.

    We believe that by integrating communications services, specialized to serve ministries into an agency format, with agency pricing, we are equipping the Gospel by equipping the church through a reliable affordable, and specialized hiring solution.

    We cherish our disposition as an integrated, white-label, 3rd party provider for churches and we believe that disposition empowers us to speak into your communications truthfully and carefully.

    In all of this, we hope to empower the Gospel and its messengers through digitally equipping the local church.

  • Good Grain Creative is Non-Denominational by Design.

    We believe that God can work through any organization or community that believes in Christ’s death on the cross and resurrection from the grave and asserts that a belief and relationship with Jesus, is the only way to heaven.

    We welcome partnerships with communities and organizations from any mainline denomination as well as non-denominational churches and organizations that align with the beliefs stated above.

    We do not pursue partnerships with the following:
    • Mormonism
    • The Word of Faith Movement or Prosperity Gospel.
    • Jehovah’s Witnesses
    • Scientology
